This is it. The blog, the bloggity blog as I like to call it. Where I will attempt to keep you up to date on the haps around the studio and what's been going on in my life.
My story? What is my story? Most of ya'll know it. I'm an open book. I love my girl. I love my job (I seriously hate to call it a job, because no job should rock this much). But, most importantly, I love my life!
My clients are my friends. When we first meet, it will be strictly business. You may have heard of me but, you probably don't know me. I guarantee when you leave the studio, our relationship will be more than just that of photographer/client.

That’s so Raven!! Yes, I did. I started with that. I couldn’t help it. I soooo sorry! But, this girl was FABULOUSITY as the famous Kimora Lee Simmons would say! She came in quiet and reserved and so polite… and I heart her! Such a sweetheart and bee-u-tee-ful!
Raven is a senior at Addison High School where she is a cheerleader and LOVES being in pageants! She enjoys shopping, being with friends and rap music! (A girl after my own heart)

First of all…wowzas! This girl will knock your socks off. She is tall and absolutely beautiful and best of all, sweet as pie!
Kristie is senior at Addison High School and is an all around kinda girl! She loves being outdoors.. hunting, fishing, riding 4-wheelers and horses. She also likes hanging out with her friends, modeling and meeting new people. Her fav colors are blue, pink, white, silver, turquoise, and lime green! Kristie is involved in Varsity Softball, Track, Beta and Key Club at Addison.

Normally when we head down to the beach I always have sessions but, this time I didn’t. I took all my gear anyway because I knew I’d want to photograph something and not have and I am soooo glad I did! I met Kara the day before we were leaving. She had been trying to find a senior portrait photographer at the beach and had no luck! Fortunately, she knew a friend of a friend of a friend and we hooked up!! She was a trooper! We met at the crack o’ dawn… literally – 5:45 right before sunrise. I must say, the beach was BEAUTIFUL! What was even more exciting was how beautiful she was. We had a few set backs (boo foggy lenses) but, ended the morning with some amazing images. Thanks so much Kara!!! 
Yep. You read it. We’re mixing things up a little this year… don’t worry, fear not, Santa will still be here in November BUT, this year we are offering Christmas in July {outdoor} family sessions!

We have officially settled into our new digs!! Our new address is 117 2nd Avenue SE, Decatur, AL 35601… literally a block up the street. We miss our old neighbors already but, our new studio is fantastic!
Also, the new studio is home to the Storybook {boutique}! The boutique features hand-made pieces from local mama’s… such as appliqued, monogrammed and stamped dresses, tee-shirts, bloomers and 2-piece outfits. We also have an amazing selection of boutique style funky hairbows and frilly tutus. And if it’s frames you are looking for… you HAVE to stop by and see the handmade frames! Ah-May-ZING! The coolest thing about the boutique is that you can buy off the rack or order custom pieces to match your child’s ball team or their bedroom or get a tutu set for their 1st birthday photo session! Watch out ya’ll… there’s all these new “photogs” running around town so the competition is fierce!! But, I’ve found the youngest!
I had such a laugh at this sweet little boss lady… Miss M, she’s gonna take my job! Not only did she bring her own camera, but she also set up her own shots, directed “her” clients and told me her “assistant” what to do! I love it!!

It’s kind of awesome to see friends all grown up having babies. Even if you haven’t seen these friends in years, it’s still amazing to see them with their children.
He was so alert at just under 2 weeks old… he kept his eyes on me!

Oh blog how I love thee, how do I count the ways?
Lots of stuff going on at the studio, so I thought I’d take the time to update everyone on the haps around here.
- – - This FRIDAY & SATURDAY, MARCH 12 & 13 will be our annual Easter Sessions. Sessions are $35 for a 30 minute mini-session and have a $100 minimum order. This year we have tee tiny itty bitty fuzzy wuzzy baby chickies. You are going to just love them. They are adorable!
- – On TUESDAY, MARCH 16th from 4:30 until 7:30 we will have a MATILDA JANE TRUNK show at the studio. I must say, I am totally and completely addicted to MJC. Not just for my girl but for me. The adult line is sooo trendy and comfy! PLUS, there are a few boy pieces this time around! Drop by the studio, check it out… purchase an outfit and get a complementary mini-session and 5×7. Rock on.

These pictures ROCK! Jamie, thank you so much for this incredible experience. I had so much fun even though it took a while to wake up lol..They turned out just awesome. I still can’t believe I got my picures on the beach! You definitely made my year
